Ch 14 Study Guide

Be familiar with the First line of defense (innate) immunity types such as….

Mechanical Barriers
Chemical Barriers
Fever
Natural Killer Cells
Inflammation
Phagocytosis

Be able to decide if a list of statements refer to the thymus, spleen or red bone marrow

Be able to put a flow chart in order from lymph vessels that take substances FROM the blood and TO the subclavian vein.

Be familiar with images: 14.4, 14.8, 14.5, Table 14.2, Figure 14.16

Be able to label an image of an antibody
