Final Exam Grading Rubric
Individual Grading Rubric: 80% of Grade
Presentation:
• Quality of Slides: 50pts
o Did the slides enhance the presentation instead of BEING THE presentation? 10pts
o Were they clean and easy to read? 10 pts
o Did they have any special effects? 10 pts
o Were they over wordy? 10 pts
o Were they visually appealing? 10 pts
• Presentation Skills: 50pts
• NOTE: You must talk to us during the presentation. IF YOU READ YOUR SLIDES the highest grade you can get in this category is 10/50points!!!!!
• Was the information presented in an organized manner? 10 pts
• Did you “know” the information and sound informed as you spoke? 10 pts
• Did you present to the class and engage them instead of talking to the screen! 10 pts
• Is it obvious you practiced your presentation? Be sure to run through your presentation a few times before you present to the class! 10 pts
• Overall, what was the “WOW FACTOR” of your part of the presentation 1-10pts

Providence Hospital Field Trip Reminders
Monday is the big day!!!! I hope you are as excited as I am!!!!
Things to know/remember for the field trip!
1. Get lost of rest!
2. Meet at the school front doors at 6:00 AM SHARP on the morning of Monday May 24th
a. There will be bagels, fruit, OJ, tea, cocoa for you at the event. You will have unlimited access to this food during the whole surgical viewing
3. Remember to dress nice
a. Guys: dress pants and a dress shirt…no tie needed
b. Girls: appropriate length dresses/skirts or dress pants with a nice shirt
i. please don’t wear heals
ii. Remember school dress code applies…no mini -skirts or plunging tops.
4. Don’t forget to bring CASH to purchase your lunch after the surgery at a sit down restaurant TBA
5. Get plenty of rest the night before, you need to be on your game Monday
6. We will be back around 2:00 so plan to attend SOME of 4th period
Agenda for the day:
• Leave school at 6:00 AM
• Arrive at Providence at 6:30
• Enjoy a light breakfast from 6:30 – 7am
• Surgical viewing starts around 7am – TBA.. Dr. Starr!!!!!
• Group will then go out to lunch at a sit down restaurant
• Back at school around 2pm….
