Jenkins out, here was the sub plan!
1. Take attendance
2. Collect their skin coloring HW from last class
3. Collect any tanning questions that anyone has to turn in (there are only a few students in this situation as most finished last class)
4. Tell kids they have two things for HW that they are to grab when they finish the class work and they are:
a. Lab 11 WS
b. Skin disorder worksheet
5. Inform kids that they will likely have their test on Friday (period 2) Monday (period 5-6) . This is also likely to be the day their reading guides and study guides are due
6. Pass out a hypothermia reading packet to each student
7. Pass out a copy of the questions to each student so they do not have tear the questions off the reading packet.
8. The reading packet is a bit confusing to SOME seniors to follow so here are some tips
a. Pay attention to the page numbers. The first reading starts on the back of the questions. This is page one, they will notice page 2, 3, 4 etc. behind page one….follow the page numbers.
b. The second reading is found in the middle of the reading packet and starts on page number 142-143 it is called “warm to the touch” again, if they pay attention to the page numbers, they just flip back and they will see page number 144-145, then 146-147…It is really not that hard so do not let them make this a big deal!
9. Re-collect
a. the individual questions you passed out
b. the reading packets
c. their answers to the reading
d. Leave all of this by the computer in room 123.
10. Once they turn in the above three items they can start their HW….
a. Lab 11 WS
b. Skin disorder worksheet
c. Work on reading guides and study guides likely to be due Monday!
